As summer is coming we are bringing you a fresh dude from the city of love, Paris. With us, Beat Kollekti at the decks we are very to have with us this time:
AURELIO (Lost Grooves Production/Paris)
Born in Rome (Italy), Aurelio began by buying hiphop tapes and records in the midnineties records. During his university days, he was used to collaborate with local radioshows and participate to events with some reggae, funk and hiphop djs and collectives. After graduation, he moved to Paris and joined Star Wax magazine, where he actively participated for 6 years in developing the magazine, while becoming the rare grooves specialist (reggae, disco, funk, soul, jazz) and making interviews with many internationals djs and producers.
Inveterate digger and record collector from now 20 years, he still goes on the field every week to look after the next obscure records unearthed in basements, fleamarkets and record shops. Sharing those findings with the public is essential during the evenings that take place regularly in Paris, in some french cities (Lyon, Strasbourg, Rennes) and abroad (Netherlands, Germany, Swizerland, Italy, England, Norway).
He already had the opportunity to share decks with Amir (Kon & Amir / BBE), Music Man Miles (Breakestra / Funky Sole), Lack of Afro (Freestyle), Akalepse (Truth & Soul), Rich Medina (Jump and Funk), Dj Expo (LA), Red Greg (Ebonite/Uk), Dj Damage (Jazz Liberatorz), Paulo (Superfly), Lord Funk (Denote Rec.), Waxist Selecta (Favorite/Sol Discos), Marcel Vogel (Lumberjacks in Hell), Mr Mendel, Red Greg (Ebonite), Al Kent (Million Dollar Disco), Suohno, Dj Suspect, 7th Samurai (Gamm/Compost), John Morales (M&M/BEE), Zaf (Love Vinyl/BBE).
