The first intention of the Ukiyo E team was, to create a series of experimental Japanese movies. After perusing the stuff we had, we decide to give an overview of different classics and particular kinds of Japanese cinema at first, to find a way into the japans culture and movie culture. Now, we think it is time, to showing this material of our first idea.
Its a special selection of short experimental animations from young filmmaker with the specifications in self-made music and sound, personally- sometimes abstract stories, and socio-cultural themes. Most of this young guys studied at the Tokai University Tokio. We like it very much.
