Closing an important year that saw us for the first time at five festivals, we can’t be happier to present another Sub_Bar LIVE, this time hosting the solo debut of Dodzi Dougban aka J2DR, alongside sub_bar founder Atelier Francesco’s “Blink Time”.
Sub_Bar has taken an important step in the history of music by exploring what remains once sound is removed. The premise of sub_bar is, in fact, not to use speakers or acoustic material during their events, focusing instead on the creative efforts of a growing international community of artists and the attention of their audiences on the vibrations and changes that occur within the body. Never before have beauty and poetry been such a physical matter.
Dodzi and Francesco deliver two very different shows: the first is rhythm-oriented, a clear choice from an artist with long experience in dance and movement; the second is an immersive story of humans, atoms, and stars.
