Jasmine Guffond is an artist and composer working at the interface of social, political an technical infrastructures. Focused on electronic composition across music and art contexts her practice spans live performance, recording, installation and custom made browser add-on. Through the sonification of data she addresses the potential of sound to engage with contemporary political questions, and she has released solo records with the Sonic Pieces, Karl Records & Editions Mego labels. Jasmine will dj a mix of her own and other people’s music with the loose aim of creating an alien disco soundscape to encourage new modes of mental movement in these restricted times. http://jasmineguffond.com/
Lukas Grundmann works with sound and music in installations, performances and compositions. As one of the co-organizers of Cashmere Radio he produces broadcasts on experimental and generative music. He is teaching at the Master’s program Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at the UdK Berlin.
DJ SchluchT works at DIY Church as one of their unpaid interns for more than 10 years. He made himself a name with abstract social behaviour online and in real live as well as naïve ghost coding and tape looping and memory loss. His dj-sets are very eclectic – underground referential stoner-logic reflecting on movies without watching them and basically it always sounds the same or like one of his critics once said: “classic intuitive wrongfootedness”. When he is not djing or radioing or helping out at westgermany, Schlucht likes to sit in his virtual bay and watch his yachts, little known but he runs a virtual yacht club where he shares his enthusiasm for underwater landscape painting and networked waves and content management systems. There are rumors that he got into copying. http://jollo.org/LNT/public/fish.html https://swimmer.hopto.org/
Sloush + Zarrt are a Berlin based DJ and artist duo. They are also part of Cashmere Radio, curators and event organizers. In the field of sound, in addition to DJ sets, they experiment with forms of artistic research in the natural sciences. How could the world of microbes sound like or how do I make the audience feel like a bubble in the mud? Music and sounds serve as the duo’s language to invite the listeners to take on different perspectives and consciousness-expanding states.
