Rollstuhl Matze’s 40th Birthday Bash
Das Jahr 1984 war geprägt von Breakdance und Filmen wie Beat Street und Breakin’. Dieser Tanz, damals noch als “Modeerscheinung” gebranntmarkt und auch die ersten Hip Hop Filme, wurden zu dieser Zeit oft belächelt. Dass sich daraus einmal die bedeutendste Jugendkultur aller Zeiten entwickeln würde, war diesen sogennnten “Kritikern” damals nicht bewußt, teils sogar bis heute nicht.
Im gleichen Jahr erblickt ein absolutes Berliner Original das Licht der Welt, Rollstuhl Matze.
Kaum ein anderer verkörpert heute mehr Berliner Hip Hop als er. Praktisch die gesamte Szene der Hauptstadt kennt und schätzt ihn. Es ist die Leidenschaft, die er versprüht.
Da er nun gemeinsam mit Beat Street stolze 40 Jahre alt wird, ist es Zeit ihm die verdiente Ehre zu erweisen. Seid dabei und feiert zusammen mit der Berliner Hip Hop Community diesen denkwürdigen Tag und lasst uns gemeinsam eine Nacht lang die Oldschool wieder aufleben…

Live dancers from Be Marvel Fam will ignite the space with expressive, powerful movement, followed by an open jam session & performance that invites everyone to join – no experience needed, only a love for motion.
