Matanga Records from Mexico City presents a night of deep grooves and global rhythms at Panke Culture. TUNKUY, the live trio led by Mexican-Chilean producer Iván Jaque, blends dub, dancehall, and Afro-Latin elements into spiritual, danceable soundscapes rooted in Latin American heritage. King Edi K brings high-energy Electro-Afrobeat from Mexico City, fusing bold brass, funky basslines, and electronic textures inspired by 1960s Afrobeat from Nigeria and Ghana. To close the night, De las Esferas delivers a vibrant DJ+percussion set shaped by Afro, Cumbia, and Latin influences.

Marlene Bellissimo (Künstlername Avelo) ist eine in Berlin lebende Comedian, die Videos über ihr Leben auf Tiktok und Instagram (@avelosongs) macht. In ihrem ersten Monolog „Ami aus Versehen“ spricht sie über ihre Erfahrung, als Junge in den USA aufzuwachsen, als Erwachsene nach Berlin zu ziehen, ihre Transition als eine trans Frau und was es bedeutet, sich in einer angespannten politischen Zeit „dazwischen“ zu fühlen.

Marlene Bellissimo (stage name Avelo) is a Berlin-based comedian who makes videos about her life on Tiktok and Instagram (@avelosongs). In her first monologue “Ami aus Versehen” she talks about her experience of growing up as a boy in the US, moving to Berlin as an adult, her transition as a trans woman and what it means to feel “in-between” in a tense political time.
