Born in uncharted realm of the internet, R9FIA RADIO’s spark started to burst forth with a dedication to showcasing innovative sounds and genres that push the boundaries of electronic music. We focus on setting up a safe room, especially for queer and female ones who are into break genres such as footwork, UK Bass, breakbeat, and unconventional sounds, also bridging cultural communities across Asia and Europe. Since 2023, R9FIA RADIO entered the monthly column of Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR), with names such as Eone, Swimful, SDLR, Bakongo shining in the program list. We will collaborate with HKCR this time, having all our recordings broadcast there, to complete a joint session both online and offline.
