Elmo Lewis and Otto Manic host the first Planet Groove Party in the Panke and for the spacial occasion they have invited the spectacular Freak Ass E.
Planet Groove is a line dedicated to vintage organic grooves from all over the world. Swing, Rock&Rol, African and Bollywood funk, Oriental madness from the middle east and much more genres that even we don’t know how to call, are all gonna be in the mix.
On October 15th, Leipzig’s nine-headed disco hydra Extraviolette will take it to the Panke dance floor, bringing a driving groove of funk, soul, and disco.
The international transfeminist art collective Witches Are Back curates the vernissage party of this long awaited group exhibition, including a generative music and ritualistic performance by Ann Antidote & Lun Àrio. Between ropes, candles and sensors, also the DJ sets of Suit Kei, Mai Matsunami and Kat Never, featuring EBM, wave, electro and broken beats.
