Chichi Mentira is a Berlin-based selector with a preference for Latin, Balearic & Brazilian sounds from the ’80s and ’90s. Recently, she has focused on Rio de Janeiro’s sound-system culture of that era, including rap das antigas, funk montagens and freestyle gems made popular within the scene by crews like Cashbox, Acoisona and Furacão 2000. She is not only a beautiful soul and lovely person but also part and member of “La Nave del Olvido” — Berlin’s most romantic party collective.
