La Coletera Vol.1 – Panke Culture Berlin

The story goes that in Colombia, cumbia emerged on the Caribbean coast from the cultural fusion between the natives and the slaves who came from Africa and the Spain during the Colony.

Traditionally, the dance is characterized by being a sensual courtship, where the man seduces the woman, while the woman tries to dissuade him with a candle, which he holds lighted in one of his hands while dancing. Come and dance with pioneer originators cumbia music from Colombia and other native genres.
