HYSTERIA

Hysteria is a gathering of fired soul beings who together bend the outlines of what’s expected. We invited both djs and performers to explore set-ups they don’t usually get to do, either by expanding the plasticity of their sets, how they place themselves in the space or whatever cute ideias they want to come up with.

We kick-off the night with a Mantou Bun ceremony so we can align in processing similar nutrients. Served by chi chi at no cost for the first 80 guests but if you care to donate, we will re-direct your donation to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.

NM DJ  will serve an indulging set during the ceremony leaving us with a lush desert of poems.

A Baozi Bun stand will be open during the event for craves and energy boosts!

The night follows with sets by the hottest souls behind decks Dj Gaja, Dj Flounce , Auco , Rafush  and Deputada and 2 performances by Cru Encarnação and FAABB from Fabiola.

Outside, we will install a fabric mural for collective panting. We will leave some paint buckets, brushes and materials for paste-ups but feel free to bring your own favorite supplies!

After the event, the mural will be cut-up into panels, sold on a sliding scale basis for Palestine Red Crescent Society.

Praising all our hysterical ancestors, in a celebration of the possibility of becoming and the courage to do so ~~~~~~

We hope that you all feel welcomed to go as little or as much hysterical as you feel. The space is yours. See you there 🙂
