Homeboy Sandman:
Angel Del Villar II, better known as Homeboy Sandman, is an American rapper from Elmhurst, Queens, New York, who has made a name for himself in the independent hip-hop scene. Known for his thoughtful, often socially critical lyrics, complex rhyme schemes and energetic live performances, Homeboy Sandman has established himself as one of the most respected and original artists in his genre. His latest EP “Dancing Tree” is available now.
Released on March 1, 2024, the EP “Dancing Tree” features Homeboy Sandman’s signature introspective lyricism meeting atmospheric beats. The EP invites listeners on a journey of self-reflection and growth, with Sandman tackling various topics with his unique, thoughtful style.
Sandman, born September 24, 1980, has released several critically acclaimed albums and EPs and toured extensively throughout his career. He began his journey with Stones Throw Records before moving to Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2011, where he released five albums through 2019. His more recent releases include the album “Rich” (2023) and the EP “Dancing Tree” (2024).
