Lineup:

BRAINTHEFT
//One-Drop Music//
Live Dub

Braintheft are a live dub duo from Dublin, based in Berlin. They have developed a sound that is deeply rooted in dub, while also incorporating elements of techno, D’n’B, and trip-hop. Their music is characterised by the intricate interplay between modular synths and live drums, creating a sound that is both powerful and hypnotic.

Braintheft have been making waves in Berlins vibrant music scene, performing at some of the most renowned venues and festivals in the city. Their electrifying live shows have earned them a dedicated following, and they have been praised for their ability to seamlessly blend different genres and create a unique sound that is entirely their own.

The duo’s commitment to live performance is evident and they have earned a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts in the city. In a world where electronic music can sometimes feel sterile and formulaic, Braintheft bring a rawness and authenticity to their music that sets them apart.

Whether performing on stage or in the studio, this duo is constantly pushing themselves to evolve their sound and explore new sonic territories. There are no rules, but Braintheft break them anyway!

Barthez and Giotto pour their character and heart into their music. One of my favorite moments of their live show is when the hand siren gets cranked over a crazy drum jam. Be alarmed, this is gonna be heavy!

SKRATCH
//Berlin Dubcafe, Version//
DJ Set

Skratch is not only a humble
and honest person and head of the technicians of Berlin Dubcafe, also he is known for his very deep understanding of electronic music matter.

A DJ true to the craft, Skratch has been perfecting his deck work along with his vast record collection for almost 20 years, taking crowds to a deeper spot with his tight mixing and educated selection, combining hidden gems with the best new music around.

Mixing vinyl, dubplates and digital sources, his dedicated and perfectionist approach developed from his early love of hip-hop and turntablism, with his ever evolving knowledge taking him through Jungle, Electronica and since 2005, deep into Dubstep and Bass. This obvious passion for the cause has seen him showcasing his skills at some of the most prestigious nights on the world stage, including Sub:Stance at the legendary Berghain, the infamous Wax Treatments parties and his residency for long standing Dubstep institution, Version and also being a member of the Superpower Soundsystem Berlin.

Pete is one of the first people I have known in Berlin, back since 2010. Except a true old school dubstep set of early gems that’s gonna give us the goosebumps…
