*** The DISKO INTERNATIONAL – a safe place for dancing to good music from all over the world. For Everyone. All Night Long.
Funk | Tropical | Rare Groove | Afro | Reggae | Dub | Disco | Boogie | Soul from East, West, North, South and all the places and spaces in between. ***
The weather is getting warmer, and the tunes gettin’ hotter! DISKO INTERNATIONAL #4 heating things up at our favorite nördliche Lokalität: PANKE. Come and join us in the Disko International, for that good good dancing music from all over the globe- near, far and wide, new, old, yesterday and tomorrow.
Especial guest is low key local hero MARIAN TONE. Known as a producer and band leader for Key Elements, and as a great Dj playing genre-free soul music. We invite Marian to flex some of his secret dancefloor stash from recent digging expeditions, upfront killer edits and some late night burners from his desirable record collection.
Also joining the get down is NZ/Berlin transplant, Many Hands instigator and music detective: Dj KAVA. Kava plays music across the rhythmic harmonic cultural spectrum, this time packing a bag of heavy afro-soul-bruk-boogie-dub-80s-mutant body music selections, intended for dance and celebration.
Alongside these two motherfunkers, Dj and producer Lucky Loop delivers some rare and known multi-lingual-genre-switching-bangers to proof your moves as well as your dancing shoes.
