Lucky Loop and Soulix inviting you to the second Episode of their brand new Format:
>>Disko International<<
After the first one there is this rumor in the city of an hilarious night where east meets west and north meets south on the turntables and the floor. As you may have guessed their goal is to merge different styles of soulful music allways with an eye for the dancefloor.
The second goal is to invite illustrous guests they met during their years behind the turntables.
And this time they delivered by inviting a Hamburg legend:
>>Mulugeta Nerayo aka Mune_Ra<<
Everything for the groove. He is the creator and curator of the famous party series “Whats wrong with Groovin”. In his sets, he plays the whole field from organic Hip-Hop, Jazz, Native Tongue over Boom-Bap, Afrobeat, Brazil to Worldmusic and everything else that gets into the limbs. Noche de Tonada (Noche de Bullerengue)
Bullerengue, one of Colombia’s most powerful Afro-Colombian rhythms, comes to Berlin for one night only.
The event takes place on the 6th of September starting at 19:00.
Bullerengue, one of Colombia’s most powerful Afro-Colombian rhythms, comes to Berlin for one night only. Ten years ago, a group of students in Barranquilla went straight to the source — the bullerengue festivals of Puerto Escondido, Necoclí, and María la Baja — to learn from the tradition’s living singers. That group became Tonada, now one of the reference groups keeping traditional bullerengue alive: three lead voices, tambora, and strings, with Mathieu Ruz known for channeling the cry of the genre’s traditional cantadoras.
Palo Santo, Calentura, and Somos are joining forces to bring this rare Colombian music performance to Berlin — a live bullerengue concert at Panke Culture, not a cover, not a fusion, the tradition itself, unfiltered.

Join us on 9 September at Panke Club to celebrate the release of our new album BEING! We’re excited to share the evening with Laure Boer and Rabih Beaini!
Seven years after our first album, CONTAGIOUS, we’re excited to finally present our second release, BEING, on Morphine Records.
Inspired by the wide range of life forms found in nature, the track titles are once again dedicated to species that challenge binary notions of sex.
We’re especially honored to have three wonderful guest musicians featured on the album: Sofia Jernberg on Comb Jelly, Valentina Magaletti on Boa constrictor, and Andrea Belfi on Smithii Ants.
Laure Boer’s music is inspired by noise music and traditional folk. Her performances are hypnotic improvisations around traditional instruments, electroacoustic and DIY-electronic objects, and sometimes a voice, singing or reciting in her native French; a vibrant universe that is both vulnerable and brutal.
Contagious is a solid blending of avant-garde experimentation and electronic music. Founded in Berlin in 2018 by two innovative voices from the Berlin Improvisation scene (Andrea Neumann and Sabine Ercklentz) and Mieko Suzuki, a well-crafted and creative DJ and musician who’s operating in Berlin venues and festivals since a long time.
Rabih Beaini’s Lebanese-born producer and DJ Rabih Beaini (formerly known as Morphosis) specializes in grainy, imaginative analogue techno. His genuine musical ability and a range of influences—from krautrock to new wave—seep into his inventive, dark, and emotional productions and immersive DJ sets.
