The blossoms arrive in Berlin, and it’s time to unfurl for a night of good dancing music from all over the world in The Disko International! In this session for #14 we warmly invite Invitado especial: Bolivian -> ->Berlin transplant DJ QUIEN to share some music with us on the Panke dancefloor!
Since relocating from Bolivia to Berlin in 2019, DJ Quien has been lighting up local dancefloors with his unique South American/Bass/turntablist rooted style, sharp Dj techniques and workflows. As a regular Disko International attendee Quien knows how we roll so we look forward to hearing him flex a lil’ different- High Altitude sub-amazonian grooves and rhythms, rainforest disko jungle music for the freaks dancing under the cherry blossoms. Abandon the final shackles of the cold and cut some shapes with us for another crucial episode of that good good dancing music from all over the world: Disko International.
On site DI flight crew Soulix, Lucky Loop, & Kava will be providing more hot music, floral arrangement advice and palm readings.

His music has quietly been making waves across digital platforms earning him more than 25k followers on Instagram and 2 million streams on Spotify. His songs have been added to various European playlists including not just a phase (DE), Insomnia (DE) or New Alternative (NL). Recently, he signed his single “VICTIM TO MY BRAIN” with Broke Records in the US, and his sold-out live debut in Vienna saw fans eagerly opening pits from the very first song.

setten x No_Stone x Jokkoo
From African-diasporic beats to leftfield dancehall and metal-influenced dub, this triple-threat linkup boasts a thrilling array of radical global club sounds.
The event takes place on the 2nd of May starting at 21:00:00.
To celebrate the first anniversary of our events, setten and No_Stone will join forces with our friends from Barcelona, Jokkoo Collective to jointly host a night of radical club sounds at Panke, Berlin on Friday 2 May.
For this special occasion, we welcome full six members of Jokkoo – Baba Sy, B4MBA, MBODJ, Mookie, Opoku and TNTC – all together at once to Berlin. Jokkoo has been exploring and experimenting with not only African-diasporic electronic music, but a variety of sounds outside of conventional Western genres, as well as alternative spaces and ways of promoting community events and parties.
B4MBA and Mookie will premier their new project ‘Nexus’ live set, while Baba Sy will go b2b with Opoku, and TNTC will make their Berlin debut. No_Stone co-founder/ curator Assyouti will share decks with Mbodj.
We have collectively invited three additional guests, Jamaican left-field dancehall icon Gavsborg (Equiknoxx, KAT7, DDS), Berlin-based Brazilian DJ, curator and co-founder of Yoko Yoko and ouch collectives, Rafush, and Berlin-based DJ, producer and Viragine label co-founder Viiaan（Woozy, SUMAC) hailing from Mexico City to delve further into the prospect of sound system culture.
Join us on Friday 2 May at Panke.
