After a more than successful short film/documentary screening and Dek playing session in early September, Chords4kicks is more than happy to finally present: DEK BASS meets BERLIN at PANKE!!
We will start the night by showing the short film/documentary “Bass Boss” (17 mins, 2025) by Rana Ghose, which explores the soundsystem style Dek Bass, unique to West Bengal and sets out to meet the elusive DJ Khabir. Afterwards we will dive into the night with a live set by the legend himself, followed by another star of the Breakcore world, joining from Denmark – DJ Hvad (Albertslund Terror Korps). Also on the rosta we have Aoteaora’s hardcore Queen Otto Vlotto, as well as some other sweet surprises. The night will be rounded up by local breakcore enjoyers, that have helped making this night come true, serving sets by Chords4Ducks Allstars. We’re more than excited!!!!
