Highlighting the festival’s community focus, and tracing ancestral roots in collective artistic practices, the first day’s program of AN(8)X festival starts with an intimate fam-extended community dinner aka banana leaf rice banquet followed by a round table discussion between some of Berlin’s most active ESEA+FLINTA community practitioners. The program wraps up with a mini-club-night featuring artists that share a strong traditional folk influence in their music.
