Dear AUGB-members and Panke friends

We would like to invite you to meet the outstanding artist 6zm, a.k.a. Gizem Oruc, at our next meeting on Wednesday, July 13th. 6zm will explain her live-mixing set and how she makes use of M4L devices. Afterward she will do an exclusive showcase for us.

Gizem Oruç is a musician, producer and sound artist. After receiving a Masters in Chemistry at Boğaziçi University, Gizem started studying Sonic Arts at Istanbul Technical University, focusing on sound and multimedia art. Gizem’s interdisciplinary perspective leads to works across a variety of disciplines, including video, generative art, installation and performance. Gizem is currently residing in Berlin, taking part in collaborations for film music and multimedia art projects while producing electronic music under moniker 6zm. Gizem will give us an insight view in her music and art work.
