Ioana Vreme Moser alias Coquetta führt ein klassisches Schmink- und Styling-Ritual vor dem Spiegel auf und verwandelt dies mittels Kontaktmikros und Effektgeräten in eine theatralische Soundperformance.

Machinery

Die Schönheitsmaschiene setzt sich aus gefundenen Gegenständen zusammen, wie Perückenköpfen, Make-up-Resten, Gesichtsapplikatoren, Stiletto-Schuhen und anderen ausgefeilten Fundstücken, die in elektronisch funktionale Geräuschquellen umgewandelt wurden und nun rhythmisch gespielt werden.

Coquetta / sound performance 2018

Coquetta flourishes in a sardonic cosmetic beautifying ritual. The step-by-step body preparation occurs as a rhythmical daily toilette routine. The buzzes of the body appearance altering devices blend inside of the to-go wig boxes and other flirtatious velvet gizmos soldered merely from trash finds.

Machinery

The beauty machine consists of several instruments built and soldered by hand from found items such, make-up substances, face applicators, stiletto shoes, and other dandy elements that are converted into electronically functional noise sources and played rhythmically.
