Get Ready to Groove at Karneval de Funk!

Join us on May 17th for the best unoffical opening party of Berlin’s “Karneval der Kulturen.” The doors open at 10:00 PM, and we’re spinning an unforgettable night of vinyl-only music, from funky Frunk to sizzling Brazil Grooves and Latin melodies.

Gu (Our Label), a vinyl virtuoso from Northern Germany, brings his funky rhythms and deep musical collaborations to the party. Voodoocuts (Juice On Wax), an Italian DJ-producer, infuses Latin and tropical vibes into his sets, making the dance floor come alive.

Let’s get funky and keep Berlin grooving all night long!

After 11 years of eclectic LineUps and TagTool magic in a small old school place in the heart of the city, we want to celebrate BIG !

Our special guest Kōma from Brussels will drop some propper UK Breaks, Bass and Jungle. He is joined by vinyl collector Ken Okuda from Shush Dance, who graces us with a Broken Beat set. And V1V1S3KT1ON from AL.Berlin playing some Global Bass. On WarmUp duty we have Soundsystem Culture activist Cate Hops.

And last but not least turntablist Migz from Drums@Work goes B2B with our own Spoonman DJ!

Codex Club collaborates with Cashmere Radio to put together a dream lineup with 6 live acts and 5 DJ sets. All the proceeds of the event will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
