War in Ukraine 2014-2015

Photography exhibition “Vijna” (“War” in Ukrainian) is a story about military conflict in Ukraine that covers whole Russia backed Donbas separatists – Ukraine conflict till the year of 2016.

From the beginning of protests in Kijev Euromaidan till armed conflict in Donbass, photojournalist Arturas Morozovas captured evolution of the events and daily life in a war zone of both fighting sides.

For exposition soundtrack authentic sounds recorded during trips are being used.

Arturas Morozovas belongs to a young generation of photojournalists in Lithuania. He is working actively since 2007.
His photographies of Russia-Ukraine conflict were published in such well-known media outlets as The Guardian, Der Spiegel, Taz.de, Le Nouvel Observateur, etc.

 

Exhibition opening – January 16, Saturday, 20:00
Wednesday to Saturday, 18:00 – open end.
Finisage – January 22, 22:00
