Synaesthesia & Visual Music : Hearing : Seeing

Ever since the dawn of film, a number of artists imagined a language of audiovisual connections, so tight that the senses are almost fused and a new form of synaesthetic art is created. This showcase will be a mixture of some of the important abstract ‘visual music’ short films as well as newer works. this is the list of the works shown (in digital format, wherever possible re-mastered, though many of them are very rare pieces):
