LAST RESORT teams up with leading bass label YUKU to deliver an event that expands on both platforms’ visions of contemporary club music.
Representing YUKU’s catalogue are Pépe and Muskila – two artists whose work embodies the label’s wide-ranging approach. Pépe, Spain’s acclaimed producer praised by Pitchfork and Resident Advisor alike, will showcase his emotionally charged take on bass, IDM and breakbeat that has earned him a loyal following across Europe and beyond. Muskila, a Copenhagen-born talent with roots in North Kurdistan, delivers highly percussive sets, layering UK breaks and rave intensity with Kurdish influences. Joining them is Brussels-based Bolivian artist Susobrino, making his Berlin debut with a special live show blending acoustic instruments, electronic textures and the rhythmic richness of Latin America. The line up is completed by Colombian DJ and producer Juana Valeria who channels the diversity of her homeland through the lens of contemporary club sounds, and LAST RESORT’s curators: Peruvian duo Dengue Dengue Dengue and Basy Tropikalne.
