The blossoms arrive in Berlin. Come one come all. Time to unfurl and re-energize for that good good dancing music from all over the world in the DISKO INTERNATIONAL. In this session #30 we’re blessed to welcome a rare sonic Polymath and Rhythmic Enchantress: AMULETO MANUELA.
A sound artist and DJ based in Berlin. Her process-based work – which includes the crafting of sound sculptures, soundscapes, DJ sets, dance floor celebrations, and listening collective practices. Born and bred in what we today know as Colombia, she addresses diaspora and identity questions in her work, with the will to unlearn and remember other ways of inhabiting our collective life experience. Her regular show on Refuge Worldwide: Music Shrine has gained a somewhat cult following amongst music heads wanting to delve deeper. Amuleto Manuela is also the other half of spatial energy navigation: SACA SAL with a previous adored Disko International Guest and fellow Dancefloor troublemaker Calamidades Lola.
We embrace body movement divination and yet another part of the inevitable DISKO INTERNATIONAL mosaic at the Nord Localé: PANKE CULTURE. Whoopin and a hollerin, throwing plenty shapes till the early hours of the morning. High Altitude Sub-Amazonian groove and rhythmic alchemy, rainforest disko jungle music for the freaks dancing under the cherry blossoms- lets get down together!
