The event takes place on the  21st of August starting at  21:00.

Join us at Panke for a fundraising evening in support of Picha, the independent art and research center based in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. For years, Picha has provided a vital space for artistic creation, research, experimentation, and critical dialogue, supporting both emerging and established artists while organizing the internationally renowned Lubumbashi Biennale.

Picha is currently facing financial difficulties and has launched a fundraising campaign to help sustain its activities. All proceeds from this event will go directly towards supporting their work and ensuring this vital cultural space can continue to thrive.

The evening begins at 21:00 with a screening of films by Sammy Baloji, artist and co-founder of Picha Cultural Center.

The screening will be followed by DJ sets from Sara Persico, Marylou, Skratch (Version), and Congolese DJ Malengo.
